Beyond Centers and Circle Time:
Scaffolding and Assessing the Play of Young Children©

“Beyond Centers and Circle Time” (BCCT) is an institute for individuals who want to become certified trainers of adults involved in early childhood education. The program provides an understanding of typical child development as a basis for observing ALL CHILDREN and for providing and scaffolding play.

“Beyond Centers and Circle Time” (BCCT) teaches the importance of structuring the play environment for age-appropriate milestones. Emphasis is on the application of theory and research to the play of young children.

Individuals who complete the “Beyond Centers and Circle Time” program are prepared to train adults who work with young children and professionals who direct early childhood programs.

CCCRT consultants have trained more than 250 adults as certified trainers for the State of Florida.  These trainers are available for training within the state.  If you are a Florida resident, contact The Florida Children’s Forum for a certified trainer in your area.
